Hi!👋
I'm Sonja (she/her), a UX/UI Designer who recently completed an MSc in Data Science and AI, bringing a unique perspective to my practice.

I thrive on exploring new topics and user needs to create well-thought-out products. This natural curiosity has also sparked my interest in machine learning, its rising popularity, and its many possible applications. I wanted to understand the mechanisms behind it more deeply, and thus, I started my MSc in "Data Science and AI for the Creative Industries" last year.

I'm looking to get back into UX/UI design, but I'd also love a position as an AI researcher or data scientist - or even to get the opportunity to combine some of my new skills with my previous ones. After all, these two disciplines have an exciting overlap: We can utilise data science techniques to inform UX design and also use design skills to make ML models more transparent to users. (I strongly recommend Michelle Carney and her MLUX Meetup on this topic!)

Sounds interesting? I am always open for a chat!
